This is a great idea, perfect size for small birds

This is a great idea, perfect size for small birds. But it was of poor quality and it was impossible to put it on the cage, the metal screw twisted in a soft wooden core, which is why the entire perch twisted and slipped off, scaring the bird many times. No matter how I tried to fix it, nothing worked, the softwood core kept expanding. Now he's at the bottom of the cage and I can at least recycle the hardware for the makeshift wooden poles that stay in place.
