Review on COOAU 12.5” Portable DVD Player: HD Swivel Screen, 5-Hour Battery, Region-Free, USB/SD Support, Purple by Ryan Nguyen

We bought this DVD player to use on long car rides with the kids. We used to have a minibus with a built-in media player, but when we switched to a new car we had to improvise. While not exactly the same, it's definitely an inexpensive replacement. Our kids are old enough (7 and 10 years old) to ride it on their own with no problem. The outer shell feels a little wobbly at first but has held up well for a couple of long rides with them so far. We haven't had any major falls or bumps (I'm sure they'll drop it at some point!) but we did let it slip out of the seat a couple of times without sacrificing functionality. What I would like to improve would be the sound quality. This is n' loud enough that our kids can use it in the car on the freeway as long as they don't use headphones. I had to buy a headphone splitter so both could listen at the same time. The sound is good when used indoors and not in a moving vehicle. All in all it was great value for money (half of what we've seen in other DVD players with similar functionality).
