This tunnel was great motivation to encourage our daughter to crawl. We threw toys in the tunnel and she happily went there to pick it up. Once a pro crawler, she seemed to really enjoy racing and found it hilarious when we stuck our heads in. The flaps at each end are perfect for hide and seek! Now that the daughter is walking (read: running), we use this tunnel more creatively. We use it as a walkway through the entrance to her princess pop-up tent and ball pit, and we use it as a sort of runway with her bowling set and race cars. At first I was worried that we wouldn't need much out of this tunnel after the crawling phase, but that's not the case at all. It folds easily, which is convenient when we don't use it. We just have to crumple it up and then secure it with 3 velcro straps. This takes a few seconds. When we want to play, it opens just as quickly. As a bonus, we also think our cats love it as much as our daughter!
