Shoes are comfortable, rubber sole is not too hard and not too thick, perfect for Tai Chi. I'm a tai chi teacher and ordered one for one of my senior students. I read in several reviews on this product here that it was too small (outsider size) so I ordered 1 size bigger, ended up being 1/2 size bigger so I returned it and the same but half size to get. It turned out to be perfect. Shipping to the US was fast and returning it was quick and easy if it doesn't fit. Just send it back in the original packaging. I just took it to the UPS store. First of all the US shoe size is not marked on the shoe and when it arrived I had no idea if they sent me the size I ordered or not but it worked out great. Based on my experience with this product, I would order half a size larger than your usual men's shoe size. I'm not sure about women.
