Not waterproof but looks shiny.

Not waterproof. Otherwise, a glossy surface will be obtained. DO NOT shake just before use. Shaking creates hundreds of air bubbles that settle on your work. If you think it's come off, which I haven't seen, use a popsicle stick or chopstick.
