Doesn't filter fully
Filters stop filtering the water in the tank when the jug is 70-80% full. Then you need to pull out and empty a non-empty tank. In 12 years of using the BRITA jug and filter, this has never happened. ICEPURE told me to shake the filter vigorously, which I did, but to no avail or very little benefit. This makes me doubt its ability to effectively filter water, but I can't say for sure. Same results with 3 filters but I gave up and ordered BRITA filters.
