Made my water slimy and looked like rotten meat. I replaced all three filters under the sink and this is my last 3rd stage filter. I left it for a few days and every time I drank water I had a slimy mouth feel and to the taste of rotten flesh with a harsh chemical. After just removing this last step from my water filter and plugging the system back in, the weird taste was gone. Something is wrong with this filter. I also didn't notice any significant drop in flow like other 0.5 micron filters. In fact, after removing the filter completely, I have about the same flow as when I installed it. This filter should be avoided.
