Tinting is a good idea but a safety issue for the dog
This is the second door I have bought. The other door stood for about 20 years. Please note this unit has tinted glass and if you have a metal panel on the door to prevent dogs walking in and out they will not be able to see the panel from the outside due to the tint. You will try to run through the door and could hurt yourself with the plate. Another door I had came with a white decal and no tint on the glass. The dogs could see the plate was down and tried not to run in. Toning is a good idea, but it's a safety issue for the dog.
