Middle of the road on my review.

04/22/21: I live in Ohio and just a few days ago we had a weird snow storm that dropped 3" of snow after multiple days of warm weather. Our weather has been weird as of late so I haven't actually assembled the whole tent and spent any time in it. Once the weather warms up I will most definitely set this up in my back yard and update this review. As of this review I have unpacked the tent, unrolled the tent, and unpacked the individual bags of posts and spikes, and rolled out the main body of the tent and "got in" it.The first thing I noticed was the tag that came attached to the tent stated that the tent was perfect for "picnics" but the online description states it is perfect for camping. I would say that the former statement may be more apt as the material doesn't seem to be too thick. Of course, thickness doesn't equal windproof and waterproof, but its thinness doesn't instill too much confidence in me. The other thing that doesn't instill confidence in me are the super small and thin "stakes" that are meant to be staked into the ground to hold the tent in place. If you have any stakes of your own that are thicker and more heavy duty you will want to toss these tiny thin stakes out and replace them with your own. Depending on the application you may want to go to your nearest outdoors store and buy better stakes.I will say that the whole package seems to be very light. I am not a camper or hiker so I am not taking this and a huge pack slung on my back into the wilderness so I can't attest to the lightness in that manner. However, merely picking it up and holding it, it does not seem to be more than a pound or two. The sizes of the tent seem to be pretty standard. If you've ever slept in a tent you know that they're not luxuriously large. I always joke that whatever number they say it sleeps to always halve that number. This tent may turn out to surprise me or it may turn out to in fact be best suited to "picnics". Again, I will update this review once I have fully set it up. As of right now I hope this review is temporarily helpful.

Pros
  • Great product so far 😊
Cons
  • The rain fly is difficult to remove, and reattaching it can be a hassle
