They don't work with EVERY type of wine bottle. So I don't know if it would have bothered me if I didn't have a stable variety stock. Luckily we have friends who keep bottles for us. I use these bottles as large bombers for pouring moonshine (mostly beer, but also suitable for water, kefir, kombucha, etc.). Also, while easy to install, it can be a bit tricky due to the tiny screw. If it's too heavy I just throw away the bottle I'm trying to cap on. I like that they are reusable and don't require special bottles. Also cheaper than buying special bottles and I don't have to make any caps. Bought twice already.
