Constant Windows updates have almost turned my anything but new laptop into a brick. Programs were slow, and once I finally opened something, Windows needed an update or fifteen. I decided to try Linux Mint on YouTube's recommendation. And it's freaking awesome, I can reprint a document, watch a video, check a webpage, upload photos from the camera. Get computer tasks done on time without another 4-hour update. All for an amazingly low price of $15. Installation was painless, took about 30 minutes and could easily have been performed by someone less skilled. So I recommend.
