Review on Adapter Multiport Thunderbolt Compatible MacBook by Kaveen Reyes

Fits VGA, not USB

As a new owner of a 2020 MacBook Air, I'm new to USB-C ports. I bought it to drive an external VGA monitor. When I couldn't get it to work, I bought an Apple VGA Multiport Adapter. Only after that did I realize that I had to push the USB-C connector all the way into the socket. So I found this product to work great on my VSA display, in fact the picture looks just as good as it does on my Apple product. But I also use a wired USB keyboard combined with a USB mouse. The Apple product handles this perfectly. SUMLETT does not power USB devices at all. I haven't tried the HDMI or power connections, so I can't comment on that. I would return it, but I suspect it will end up in landfill somewhere, so I'm just keeping it as a spare for my display instead.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
