It didn't look waterproof so I zipped in a piece of paper and sprayed the packaging with water for about 5 seconds. The water was well beaded but I could tell it was barely waterproof. I put it on a towel and left. When I opened the package a few hours later, the paper was wet. Don't waste your money if you need something waterproof; However, the shape is good, so we can still use it for something where there is no water.
