I was nervous because other reviewers said their sticks arrived broken but mine arrived in perfect condition. 3 stick insects have been living in it for a month now and it's still in great shape. There's good ventilation at the top and the lid holds tight - a bit difficult to remove at times. I compress the dimensions of the box and open the lid one corner at a time. The plastic is very transparent, so we can see our little friends inside unhindered. I'm glad I bought this model and it was just right for my needs.
