Easy to use and definitely gets cold just adding ice water, but only lasts 30-40 minutes before running out of water even after following the chart in the instructions to maximize runtime . A big disappointment because I had to try different devices before I found one that was really "cool". I wanted to keep it, but I just can't use it if it doesn't work while the water runs out. Maybe it lasts longer with ice cubes instead of water, but I don't want to always use ice just for it to last longer than an hour. But if that doesn't bother you and you just want a device that stays cool, then this is for you. Oh, and yes, there's obviously a fine mist in there.
