I bought it yesterday, I sat testing it all evening. At first I did not notice the difference with the built-in laptop audio card and went nuts - how so? Then I listened - there is a difference, it's just that in alternative rock it is almost inaudible. The card has very soft bass, for some it will be too soft. As a result, the card is still a budget one, and on such headphones as I have (ATH M-50x) its work is almost inaudible in some genres of music. However, microphone recording is much better than through the built-in. For those who don't want to spend a lot of money for a decent sound - that's it, guitar and voice sound (relatively) clean. For audiophiles, of course, not the best option.
