Pelican 1020 for USB Hard Drives

Ideal for external USB hard drives. I send them all over the world and they protect them perfectly. retail price! On PX/BX they cost up to $34. I bought them at Revain for between $14 and $20. 1020s (size for USB hard drives, not big for USB and AC connection). I noticed that the clear lid is better. It's just as hard as spot colors (although they don't look like they are), and it's a lot easier this to ensure you do not clamp the USB cable with a cover. external ones do, but I couldn't justify the cost ratio for my data importance. When your data is critical, cost is not an option and they will protect it. I always buy 2 larger hard drives and use one to back up my data. So if one fails, I immediately replace it and make a fresh second copy (I have 6.4TB of data at a time, but I have 12 for 1 for 1 backup). I keep the original boxes they come in (I prefer Seagate) and they ship well in it. But then again, if your data is too important to lose, pay the money, buy an appropriately sized Pelican. each with 4TB of data, but 12 backups for the price of 1 of 1).
