Pelican 1020 Micro Case (Red/Clear) Review

I have this to store my 10/22 BX-1 mags in my takedown case (to convert into a carry case). As you can see I had to order a few more magazines but they fit nice and snug. Very happy with this facility.

Bought these to hold some 10/22 magazines. to store and they fit in my 5 stores with limited space. 1040 is more commonly used for 10 stores, but I don't have that many. This works great, in which case you might even get 6.

I have just received this case - I will not pass stress tests. I have the red one - it's much prettier than the picture, it's more like wine/blood red. The case seems extremely durable - I bought it for this hard drive case and it fits perfectly! Narrow enough to be almost difficult to reach (which is a good thing!) Not used yet. Asked a guy to put in an iPhone 6 while riding a motorcycle off-road. Dirt and accidents happen and phones get crushed. Having the ability to call for help is a must so I thought that was a great idea. Could be tied to a bike. I first bought a 10 year mini - it was TOO SMALL for an iPhone 6,6s,7,8 (maybe it fit my old 4 - can't remember right now, sorry). I had a fantastic return experience and was given a next size up '20 mini suitcase. Unfortunately, it didn't have a headphone…

Good but not chemical resistant. I used the brake cleaner above to remove the label and I notice pieces of hinge lying on the workbench. The hinges just popped open with no extra pressure (there's some internal pressure when they close tight). It's made of a harder plastic (possibly polystyrene) and I really liked the rubber inlay.

Ideal for external USB hard drives. I send them all over the world and they protect them perfectly. retail price! On PX/BX they cost up to $34. I bought them at Revain for between $14 and $20. 1020s (size for USB hard drives, not big for USB and AC connection). I noticed that the clear lid is better. It's just as hard as spot colors (although they don't look like they are), and it's a lot easier this to ensure you do not clamp the USB cable with a cover. external ones do, but I couldn't justify

Pelican's water- and airtight cases are the gold standard for portable gear storage. I have four different sizes of these guys. You can fit a whole lot of things in it, limited only by your needs or imagination. I use them to organize things rolling around in my truck. If something isn't visible in my cars, it's like it doesn't exist because I forget it's there. I have two of these in the center console. A 1060 (Large) is for Mints, Tylenol, Lip Balm, Eye Fluid, Pens, Replacement Pens, Sharpie…
