Sometimes small things in life can bring unexpected joy, especially when we do it hundreds of times a day, like simply taking the phone out of a protective case and taking it out! I've only had the Encased phone holder for a week so it'll have to wait for a solid durability rating, but so far I'm very happy with this case. After using Otter cases for years, I decided to try something different with my new iPhone XR. This product feels as solid as Otter and makes it easier for me to get my phone in and out of the mount. Having read some comments on here about unintentional 911 alerts, I am careful to place my phone upside down in the case (obviously when you have the phone and case in your hand) and don't see this as a problem. The limiting factor for most Otter "copycat" holsters seems to be the belt clip, which breaks anytime from the first week to a few months after purchase. The belt clip on this product feels as sturdy as anything I've had. Time will tell but right now I smile a little every time I take my iPhone out of the case!
