I was excited to get this driving range kit as it can take a while to get comfortable playing golf on the course or balls on the shooting range can hit. Maybe 90% of the installation process is easy enough. There are two things that could be better. First, in one of the previous steps, you need to hook the rings at the base of the net over the L-shaped bracket that connects the base to the top of the net. It wasn't very clear from the picture which of the two rings to use, but apparently one of the rings is for pegs to stabilize the net. Second, it was a bit difficult to connect the last part of the top with the L-shaped connector. It takes a little tugging and figuring out how to fold the rest of the mesh at the right angle to insert the end. Even with those two speed bumps, the whole process took me maybe 30-45 minutes. The package is good because it has a fairway and rough sections. However, I bought a 3 x 5 foot mat so I can stand on it and not mess with the backyard grass with my feet. The stitches do not look very high and very wide. So I placed the two mats closer to the net to keep the ball from flying over them. I'm right handed so I placed the mats slightly left of center as I don't think my hooks will go far enough to the left to miss the net on that side (knocking pin). I also placed a net to the left of a large tree so the tree would block the ball as it bounces to the right. Basically, all of these precautions are designed to make me feel more comfortable swinging the ball off my neighbors' property. The training balls included in the kit are made of plastic. They are firmer than styrofoam training balls, but are still quite light. I don't know if a driver's missed turn is enough to cause property damage, but I hope I don't find out the hard way. Still, it was a lot of fun hitting the ball again. in full swing and with the usual clubs. Update from Day 2: The grid is not high enough. I lost two balls in two days. Flash shots with PW and Iron-7 did the trick. I couldn't track where the ball was going when it went off the net.
