I was looking for a controller for my Xbox One just to watch movies just to save the wear and tear of my regular controller. I didn't need this controller for my TV or sound system just to watch movies on my Xbox One and nothing more. Because of this I went with the cheapest controller I could find and what a disappointment. It only has about 10 feet of range, spikes; and it must be sent DIRECTLY to the Xbox. The decisive factor was the narrowness of the beam. You seriously need to be looking directly at the Xbox or it won't work. My Xbox sits on a shelf below my TV, about knee height. That means, that I have to hold this controller at the same knee height as my Xbox and look directly at my Xbox. to make it work. I ended up swallowing the money I spent on this controller and buying a more expensive one. Should have read the reviews first to save money.
