This little silicone mat has many uses. I've used it as a trivet, a lid for a microwave bowl, a rest for a cooking spoon, a drying mat, a pad under the microwave bowl to avoid burning your hands, and a gripper to open the lids on a jar. It's so easy to clean and looks great just sitting on the counter. I ordered "grey" but it's more of a brownish gray that goes well with my decor. One side is honeycomb design, the other side is smooth. If you hesitate with an order, just get it, you won't regret it!
