Review on ๐Ÿ‘ž Medium-sized Black Pack of 1 United Ortho Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot by Bill Martinson

Great boot! AND CHEAP!

Don't be fooled by the low price of these boots, they are great boots! They are well constructed, although not exactly like mid-range boots. It's missing a fancy name, but who cares?! I actually bought TWO boots here at Revain (obviously this one), the one that claimed to be "low profile" was actually NOT! And it was twice as expensive. However, the Low Profile Boot, which had a really snazzy label, had an impressive video and key photos of the technology, as well as confirming claims that it was the same height as the sneaker. It also spun a rounder bottom. I only wore it at home for 2 weeks and the floor (which was horribly slippery due to the rounder bottom) started peeling! Here's the real deal: the Low Profile only looked lower from the outside. The bottom rocker also helps it look shorter. In reality, it can be 1-2 cm lower than this boot. This was also very inconvenient. The inner sleeve didn't fit well around my calves and something was digging into the inside of my ankle right where the cut had been. The small pieces of foam (2 for low profile boots) were very flimsy and wore out within two weeks of only wearing the boots at home. This boot is very comfortable. It doesn't get stuck in any particular spot and has 4 thicker foam pads that stick really well. I've worn this shoe indoors and out. Holds up very well under relatively heavy use. I wear size 8.5 women's shoes, have larger calves and this size medium is perfect. I think you could go for a size 10 as there is quite a bit of room in the front. Some suggestions for newbies: (Things someone wants to tell me) My suggestion is to get an "Even Up" leveler. for your other boot so you don't get back or knee pain. You can find it here on Revain. It's about 30 dollars. If you are using the boot for the first time, do not pull on the pull-up straps yet! First put on the sleeve, then sitting on a chair and with the boot on the floor, insert the leg with the sleeve into the boot. Move your heel back as far as possible. If you have tension in your Achilles tendon, don't tongue out for pull-ups until your ligaments/tendons are stretched enough to place your foot at a 90-degree angle. So save the pull-up tab for later. (It has velcro that attaches to the sides of the leg cuff to keep it in place). If your Achilles tendon is tight, straighten it before putting on your boot for the day. Once in the boot, lock your toes first, then your ankle, then work your way up the boot. A bit tricky at first with velcro straps. Mine would get tangled, fall off, or get stuck to something else - if you tape the velcro to yourself when removing it, you'll always know exactly where the strap is. If the velcro on the toe and ankle is too long, don't cut them! Simply fold it back and put it in the belt holder. Then he doesn't talk. The blue blower works - just follow the arrows to tighten when inflating and loosen when deflating. Don't inflate it too much until you feel how tight it should be. It will also burst if you inflate it too much or try to take it off while it's still inflated. Much luck. Sorry to wear a boot but you'll save a few hundred bucks by buying this cheap gem!
