Review on Cordless drill driver Makita DF330DWE by Michal Kucharski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

This is a very handy and lightweight screwdriver. It is very convenient to work at height and under the ceiling! After working decently with him, I realized that he is not so weak as it seemed to me at first, and quite copes with most of the tasks assigned to him. In general, despite minor shortcomings, I really like the screwdriver, especially for its ease and convenience in work.

Pros
  • 1. Lightweight and very comfortable in the hand. Compact, easy to get into difficult places. 2. Li-ion. Lightweight, capacious, compact, fast charging, no memory effect. 3. A good cartridge, securely fixes, drills and cue balls do not wag, do not beat. 4. Convenient switches on the body, everything is clear and ergonomic. 5. Fast and informative charging. Two batteries included - even intensive work will be uninterrupted. 6. Durable case with compartments for cue balls included. 7. A nice holster is also a plus. Due to its lightness and holster, it is convenient to work with it at height and under the ceiling.
Cons
  • 1. There are questions about the assembly of the case. I did not find a flash of castings, but on top the body halves are joined unevenly, forming inconsistencies. This is not at hand, but the fact remains. Made in China. 2. The screwdriver dangles too freely in the case. But dressed in a holster, you can’t stuff it into a case - the seam of the holster rests in one place, only 1-1.5 cm. It’s very disappointing. Couldn't calculate? 3. Stupid illumination - does not illuminate the end of the cue ball, it is blocked by the shadow of the cartridge. On the other hand, you can use it as a flashlight - to see something. 4. Noticeable (~2 mm) backlash along the gearbox axis. 5. There is no battery discharge indication on the screwdriver. Deep discharge is harmful to lithium batteries. There is no protection for batteries from deep discharge - it tries to work until it stops completely, you have to follow the sensations.
