I really like using this face paint. I am not a professionally paid artist, but I volunteer to paint faces at local parties and events in my community, and I have many years of artistic experience using a variety of mediums, including paint. Pros: - runs smoothly - dries quickly - doesn't dry out or bleed - rich, vibrant colors - variety - removable paints with individual caps - durable plastic case Cons: - I recommend getting your own brush set - not keen on stencil tips to use: a must be careful with the water (it is not watercolor). The less water you use the thicker the paint will be, too much will dilute the paint and make it more transparent. Stroke the brush over the dry paint a few times to make sure the color is saturated and get enough paint on the brush before attempting to paint with it. It needs to be re-saturated periodically - when you switch to another color for a minute or so. Wait for a color to dry before adding a new color. Once the first color has dried, you can apply another color right next to or on top of the dry color without worrying about the two colors running together or dirtying your brush with the first color. Start with lighter colors and work your way to darker ones, unless you're doing highlights on the top layer, then make sure the darker color dries first. I use water and paper towels to lightly dry the brush after cleaning between colors to avoid over saturating and thinning the paint and use wet wipes for sensitive skin to clean up the drawing and erase mistakes.
