Review on Hobson Original Easyseat Split Saddle by Jaya Walsh

This seat may be the most comfortable bike seat I've ever experienced. With some modifications*, ie Firstly, turning the seat cushions left to right and right to left makes it more comfortable for me. The silicone pads available for this seat make it a bomb. A major disadvantage of the original Hobson Easy Seat is that the set screws holding it in place loosen after a while. In this case, the cushions can slip off the bar they are sitting on. To get around this, I tie ropes holding the silicone pads in place so the seat cushions don't move apart. I also regularly check the set screws for tightness. The Hobson Easy Seat II has a much improved mounting system, but the seat cushions are triangular and I have not found any silicone seat cushions that match the triangular shape. If you are not investing in silicone seat pads, the Easy Seat II is your best bet.
