Bought for Christmas at sale price of $7.99. The instructions are minimal at best, but the 7-year-old daughter seems able to figure it out without them. The device is physically a bit smaller than I expected and the screen is only 2.5 inches, but it's colorful, makes all the necessary sounds and seems to work (I haven't tried it in manual mode anyway). I hooked it up to the TV because the cable is only about 6 feet long and it takes me about twice as long before I let the kids use it on the TV).
