This worked really well on a pair of Strats I built recently. After applying the first layer I measured only 1 ohm in the cavity between any two points! I've used carbon based protective paint on other guitars in the past and it took at least three thick coats to get under 10 ohms. In any case, in combination with the copper foil pick protection, the guitars were absolutely silent in terms of electromagnetic interference fields coming from the amplifier or surrounding devices. An additional advantage is that the nickel-based paint does not rub off after drying. No more black fingers on electrical work or future modifications (after using carbon based conformal paint).
