I have used several of these meters in different solar systems. They are versatile and easy to use. I've often made little boxes to hold them in, or cut a hole to attach them to a platter. Last time I discovered an easy way to surface mount the meter. Simply pry off the back panel carefully, drill a small hole and screw the back panel to the wall. Then simply snap the meter onto the back and it installs neatly. They show all possible uses, but what I find most useful is monitoring the solar energy flowing from the panels to the batteries.
