There is a design flaw. Not easy to open

At the same time as I bought this one to replace our dead 'mini chopper' I bought a network chopper very similar to the one we replaced. However, when fully charged, the blades spin slower on this model than the wired model, and it seems to work just as well. The presence of two containers for grinding different sizes is also convenient. Each container comes with its own blade which is also a plus but the long blade will not fit the short bowl and the short blade will not fit the tall bowl. There is a flaw in the design that can annoy someone. with clumsy fingers or with arthritis. To separate the bowl from the lid, you must grab and remove one or more scallops on the "lid". This isn't particularly easy to accomplish and I find it requires considerable thumb and finger grip strength to accomplish. Interestingly, the shells of this grinder feel softer than the harder plastic of the corded grinder, but washing your hands gives more orange than the corded grinder (Proctor Silex). The fact that it has no cord makes it more portable and easy to use. Even after shredding half a dozen carrot and broccoli stalks (cut into chunks before adding them to the bowl), we didn't run out of power. It seems "safer" to push the button down to start the grinder than to turn the top of the mains powered grinder to get the grinder running. Especially since we had the problem with the previous mesh mill that the bowl and lid became brittle over time and began to tear. unclear future lifetime or recharge. Overall, however, it seems like the job is done.
