Review on Intel Unlocked Skylake Processor BX80662I76700K by Adam Szepietowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Works stably at a frequency of 4710mhz! Passes the CINEBENCH R15 test with a score of 1013! Temperatures around 80 degrees (under dropsy) I left it to work at a frequency of 4490mhz (the most stable operation, without unnecessary noise, and strong heating) In this case, the hottest core at 100% load does not exceed 65 degrees! (The result in CINEBENCH R15 is 933 points) The voltage is set in all tests on the car! The test was carried out on motherboard MSI Z170A SLI Dropsy Corsair H45 (budget one-piece) after switching from 4770, the increase in performance is felt (in CINEBENCH R15, the percentage of 4770 scored 747 points) That is, the total increase is from 15 to 25%, depending on overclocking! For games, that's it!

Pros
  • Powerful, support for DDR4 In idle cold, under load without overclocking is also a honey, In a small overclock is also normal!
Cons
  • When overclocked to 4.8ghz, the TDP is more than 110 watts! It gets very hot, the temperatures under dropsy approach 90 degrees, and throttling begins! (The test had to be interrupted)
