Better than the wet brush
The brush may seem incredibly flimsy, but it helps keep hair from sticking. The stress of combing is transferred from the hair to the brush. When it reaches the confusing spot, you'll see the texture of the brush begin to change. Thick curly DRY hair takes longer to comb than wet thick curly hair. The brush works best when your hair is as wet as when you got out of the shower. In my opinion it works better than the "wet brush".
