I purchased this knife in July 2019 after my 30 year old Sunbeam electric knife finally stopped working. I've used it on many occasions, mainly on vacation, and I'm still very disappointed in using it! It has a long handle, but it tapers towards the controls, keeping your hand at the front of the handle when operating. Your hand then slides further forward and touches the blade release button, especially if your hands get a little slippery when touching the meat you're slicing! IT'S VERY DANGEROUS! This knife could have been more ergonomic to prevent that! Today I cut a small half of ham from the fridge and although the blades seem sharp in name I had to push them through the ham to cut it! This is not currently a power knife that I would recommend buying due to these shortcomings!
