The Vario is a great device, but remember it's not the ultimate water filter, it's actually a PURIFIER. However, the use of this device in heavily polluted water filled with sediment is sometimes necessary. When you're on the go. This will drastically shorten the life of the filter if it becomes clogged. This replacement filter is ideal for when you get home. A bit pricey but worth it for clean drinking water down the street. Vario and this replacement filter comes with new o-rings and even some silicone.
