These 2x4 handlebar mounts are well made and strong. The reason they get 2 out of 5 and not 5 out of 5 is because they are too small to fit through 2x4. Top to bottom they are ok but 2x4 is too wide to go through them. I had to grind the 2x4 because I don't have any other planing tools, what a bummer that the manufacturer should go broke and make these 1/8 to 1/4" wider. Not the best situation if you're using them as an emergency barricade, when you have to fight to get through the bar.
