This amplifier has everything you need to unmistakably punch the daylight out of a variety of subwoofers. Highly recommend upgrading to the big three of at least 4ga OFC and upgrading the generator if possible. The gain, set at about 25% by ear, makes my single 12-inch speaker pound my sedan like an earthquake. Be sure to set the remote bass control to maximum so you can control the volume from the booth. The bass boost frequency setting works fantastic for fine tuning the full range of the subwoofer. The only downside is that the amp doesn't fit the oversized 4ga OFC Knus as hoped. He's too tight. Doesn't stand up to criticism. . Not too hot to touch. Time will tell how long it lasts, but apparently this upgrade from APCL has better internals to resist premature wear and improve efficiency. For the price and performance, it was an easy purchase. Just make sure your wiring, fuses, and grounds are to specification and in good condition. You can definitely see this booster frying a car's ECU or, even worse, starting an under-hood fire due to user error. Install smart!
