Not as strong as you think
These look great but I have smaller magnets that are stronger and hold better.You will notice some people say they hold great, some say they do not, and there is a reason for this, it all depends on the type of steel and thickness. Most refrigerators have very thin metal, older units usually have thicker metal. If you have a metal(house) door, unless it is a commercial door it probably has a thin skin on it like a fridge and will not hold really good. On my fridge these slide very easy but stick in on my safe and it stays put. I would say stick it on your car bumper to see how much better it sticks, but most of those are plastic now.
- They are perfect for holding up holiday decorations or garlands
- Not suitable for hanging delicate or fragile items that may be damaged by magnets
