My daughter was very happy to get them for Christmas. To be honest, me too. I too would like to put a splash of color here and there without lasting consequences. Unfortunately the product is of poor quality. Here are the problems: Misleading. My daughter has blonde hair and the colors don't show through. I'm platinum so they're a little easier to see but not by much. The girls on the box look like they paint with ease. Not true. You literally have to hold a strand of hair between your fingers and the tip of the pen and move it back and forth with good pressure to apply it. Colors are diluted, meaning lighter colors are never seen. The good thing is that it comes with darker versions of most colors. Also, it's not chalk. anything. We used to have hair chalks and while the color was great it didn't stain everything it touched. I thought it would be a much better option but it isn't. You are fat. This means if you add a strand your hair will look and stay messy/wet.
