We recently moved from a 2100 sq.ft. home with 4 bedrooms to a 2 bedroom cottage. Both of the bedrooms have only one small, narrow closet suitable for hanging a few pieces of clothes. I wanted more storage without clutter.I solved most of the storage problem with cube units. Fabric drawers keep everything organized and hidden. Everything from clothes to small tools and office supplies can go inside the fabric drawers. I went with white cubes with alternating turquoise and teal print fabric drawers. It gives a bright overall color scheme. If I redecorate, I can buy fabric drawers in a different color and totally change the look.The fabric drawers are quite strong but for very heavy items a cardboard box could be put inside the cloth drawer for extra protection to the fabric.
