Review on 💪 Enhance Efficiency with the Wilkins 34 70XL Pressure Regulator by Brad Schaefer

I originally wanted to replace our regulator, but the location of the old pressure regulator prevented me from replacing it. The fact is that it was delimited by a floor beam and a wall built directly below. I could not remove this single union connection. This could have been a much bigger task if the design of this product hadn't been backwards compatible within the controller. I was able to gut the new one, clean the old one and replace the broken parts inside. I really appreciate Wilkins' ability to maintain designs through these years/decades and make them compatible with previous models. Ultimately, this made the homeowner's job a lot easier. Background: At the end of 2012 there was a fire in our house. Why did the plumber choose the old regulator? It is very frustrating and discouraging when you are trying to rebuild a house and someone in this situation is taking advantage of you. He could clean it up and restore it. But all the black dirt and grime from the house fire was in that old regulator when I took it apart. I was surprised by what I found. Thanks to YouTube and Revain, I felt like I could get through this without falling into the trap of lazy or worse yet dishonest people in the industry. In any case, Wilkins thanks you for making a great backward compatible product. Very grateful.
