Review on Rechargeable Intensity Accessories Helmets Flashlight by Scott Lavimodiere

I bought this product with high expectations. Influenced by the performance claims, the videos on their website, the design and the rave reviews. In fact, I ordered a second one even before the product arrived, thinking I'd "stack" a few, which gave me a very effective light pattern (one on and the other blinking). I'm an engineer with a lot of experience with illuminated optics, so I definitely appreciate efficient and high quality lighting systems. Upon arrival and installation/use for the first time, I noticed some significant issues. First, the rubber support adjustment (which is used to level the light) is weak. She did not hold the position and I had to stop several times and raise her to the level (I drove on slippery roads and sidewalks). Apparently a "toothed" adjustment lock is missing here. Next, and much worse, came the time of the flashlight. Although it was advertised as 56 hours on low settings, I found it barely lasted 2 hours on the lowest settings before losing so much performance that various functions stopped working. (This is after a confirmed full charge prior to use). I've since reloaded it and got the same result. Therefore, I have found that this product does NOT meet the advertised claims. Assuming it was a separate product incident. (it happens) I immediately contacted (emailed) Blitzu for advice on these issues and to see the exchanges. To date I have not received any response from Blitzu. I have already emailed them twice and still no response. There's a lot to like about this design concept and I found that while it's charged it gives off a very spectacular pattern of light. However, poor bracket adjustment, incredibly short run times, and a complete lack of response from the company mean I will be returning both units to Amazon for a refund and looking for another tail light product. The only contact I've received from Blitzu that arrived today is a general "survey"/review request. They provided a link in their email if I have any questions/issues, but it doesn't seem to be working either. Unfortunately, as requested, this is my review. I had high hopes for this product. As I said before, this design may appeal to many, but I will not tolerate any product that does not meet advertised specifications, nor any response from the company. For now, I recommend looking into other products for your taillight.
