I do not recommend spending my money on this.

= After a week of "pain" and tests that way for 2.5 TB, I wanted to take it and go get rid of everything possible. Because it was unexpectedly the hottest piece of hardware in the case. After the "freaked out" = zakolhozil under the solid state radiator from the old AMD processor with a thick copper base with heat pipes. I put an aluminum radiator from Espada ESP-R1 on the back wall. All this was provided by expensive Pro Legend and Thermal Grizzly thermal pads. I also had to put in, in terms of speed = x2, and not x4 slot (550 chipset), because. only there was enough space for this "hamburger". Then yes = everything worked at comfortable temperatures. Despite this, you can’t put a “hamburger” either on a motherboard with a soldered connector on the back of the motherboard, or in an m2 connector under the video card, and, depending on the configuration of the wiring on the motherboard, the dimensions of the “hamburger” can potentially interfere with putting some devices into the slot for slotted components. - Among other things, trying to eliminate overheating, I learned a lot of things on what can be done with disks through the windows registry, but nothing on the topic of lowering the upper limit of disk power consumption.

Pros
  • + It has already happened that I trust the Samsung brand in electronics more than others. But this is a total disappointment and the worst Samsung I have ever owned. + The speeds declared are quite good.
Cons
  • Temperatures "out of the box" "awful". Scary to store data, uncomfortable to use. The very name of the controller "Phoenix" hints at this. Which, before buying, I ignored because of the trust in the brand. - The declared operating temperature range, without a radiator, did not hold. - Radiator from asrock b550m pro4 motherboard, kept temperatures in the range up to 65 +- degrees. - A large heatsink, which is fun and which is able to keep this solid state in the temperature range (see pictures), which even Samsung Magician considers "normal" (38-48 degrees), limits the ability to use it in some m2 slots due to the dimensions of the heatsink. - Thermal insulators that carry the information load, and when removed from them, you lose the warranty.
