I had to buy a more massive radiator, because. with the standard there were significant temperature differences, in particular the controller. The zone between the video card and the CPU makes itself felt, there is always + 10-15g from the external environment, whether you like it or not, even if the ssd is "sleeping" (by default, it is disabled in the BIOS on all desktops). I put 0.5mm spacers on the flash, and 1mm on the rest, but this is a custom height-adjustable radiator. The standard radiators of motherboards are usually strictly fixed in height, as are their gaskets, so just shove gaskets under the flash 0.4 ~ 0.5mm less than the base thickness of the existing gasket on the radiator, only in this case the radiator will completely remove heat from everywhere, nothing else for everyone 970evo / 980pro models for 2TB, alas. Externally, the boards differ significantly from the old revision on the phoenix, the block of capacitors in the middle stands out the most, which is always asymmetric on the elpis, but symmetrical on the phoenix, well, PN on the sticker. Youtube blogger "ProSSD" has detailed tests of both revisions. In the screenshot, the operating modes are already with a custom radiator. It was ordered from the aliexpress warehouse a month ago, while there were discounts, but the price had already increased by ~ 50% in a month.
