AVR failed in non-fail safe mode
This AVR failed after 10 months and 40 hours and failed in a mode where the motor could be powered as evidenced by a continuously running hour meter. The only remedy is to disconnect the battery. I noticed that the hour meter reads 9 volts which also means that this voltage is at the fuel pump. Removed and replaced with a new one from a competitor and solved the problem.
