Since Apple CarPlay is quite common these days, I've naturally ditched car phone mounts. Well, I had to rent a U-Haul for a 700 mile round trip, and unsurprisingly here it wouldn't come with CarPlay (but scream U-Haul, it was a nice car indeed) . The windshield in the U-Haul is really long and deep, which I wasn't expecting, but I was able to bend and install the holder to work. It's sturdy, seems to last a long time, and for the price you can't argue with that. Now it's back in the box and stowed in the garage with other stuff. So if you catch me ordering again please stop me. Hit me if you have to.
