Despite the manufacturer's comment in the questions section, this mat will not work on the CM350 machine. It's the same width as a 12X12 mat and the machine pulls it in to read the black markings at the top and then gives you a message saying it's not compatible (see image). Nothing stops the length of the mat you use. I can't find any reason why the machine can't read a 24" mat, but this is clearly stated in the software. I needed the ability to cut 14 inch legal paper which is 2 inches longer than a standard mat. Several comments, including one from the manufacturer Brother, claim that the 24-inch mat would work on "all Scan N Cut devices". It's just not true.
