It really annoys me that you can't use standard DMM cables with their insulated banana plugs as the end of the plug only accepts old fashioned bare banana plugs (bare metal - risk of electric shock !). As far as I remember insulated banana forks were the industry standard. Otherwise they seem fine - the screw doesn't bind, the needle is pretty sharp and the whole thing is surprisingly flexible so it shouldn't break (at least in temperatures well above freezing - can't tell). whether the plastic becomes brittle at 0Β°F). I guess I have to buy regular banana cables just to use them.
