Thank goodness for this product! Our 14 year old Wii retired earlier this year. We tried the hard drive cleaner, but there was no improvement. I came across this while browsing through used Wiis. I can follow the instructions (I replaced the sensor array in Roomba, it's easier) so using a YouTube video I replaced the internals. Now we have a working Wii again! You will need special triangular screwdrivers - just a small and tiny Phillips head along with a very small one. My little one came from a watch repair tool kit I have. There was one screw that got in my way and I couldn't get it out - the middle screw that holds the black bezel under the drop down doors. I rotated the bezel until it came loose from the screw and everything else went smoothly. My apologies for not knowing the sizes of my various screwdrivers, but I'm not sure most people have homes that small. I'm smart and skilled, so I've amassed a decent collection of tools over the years. Nintendo should consider re-launching the original Wii. It is very loved in our house even though we have Switch and XBox. Let's enjoy another 14 years with our Wii!
