I have a large DeWalt, a large Porter Cable and 2 medium sized cordless drills. Black & Decker, Skil. All four fit perfectly on this shelf, with their backs to the wall. This is the best way to use this rack. It doesn't flex with all four drills in the rack. To install it, I attached it to a board of nails wide enough to hook two wooden studs 16 inches from the center. good standing
