Review on Power Up with Prime Wire & Cable PB801123 6-Outlet 4+2 Metal Strip – 3-Feet Cord, Black by Cody Hunt

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Solid Industrial Design

As far as extension cords go, this is what you need for an inexpensive addition to anywhere like a garage or workshop. The metal case is sturdy and can be hung anywhere you can put a few screws. (No need to guess or move the template to place the screws correctly as the holes are open at the front.) The power button is solidly built, with a solid click in every position, and the cord. This strip is rated for a full current of 15A, which is the maximum rating for most outlets, making it a good option for power tools and other high power power supplies. And while the design of the end of the plug prevents two of them being used in the same outlet, adding two of them defeats the purpose and ideal of using a more durable strip like this, which isn't really ideal for hooking up a bundle . Definitely low power wall wart style connections due to the lack of surge protection. That means you'll probably only need one per outlet, or you'll need a different power branch or design or surge protector anyway. For this reason I would NOT recommend this strip for computers or other sensitive electronics.
